I recently went shopping in Boston and discovered these gorgeous wool high waist shorts and had to buy them immediately.  High waist shorts give the best hourglass shape and make your waist look as tiny as possible- what’s not to love?

I paired them with one of my favorite belts and it gave the outfit a fresh look. The metal hardware added lots of texture and helped accentuate my waist. Since the shorts are a beautiful color and the belt took center stage in the outfit, I paired them with a simple black satin top. My bright yellow flats are my new favorite shoes. So bold and super comfortable, they went perfectly with the outfit.  Blue and yellow go together so well, don’t you think?
