Ahh.. It’s my birthday! When I was little I was obsessed with dreaming of all the dolls I would be unwrapping and what color the frosting on my cake would be. These days getting older has come to mean more about just receiving love from the people in your life and having them shout it out a little louder. I do still look forward to a good slice of cake.

I wanted to wear an outfit that made me feel feminine and gorgeous. I fell in deep sequin love with this blush pink sheer blouse at Forever21 immediately. How can a gorgeous sequin collar not make a girl happy! Immediately I knew it would go perfect with this skirt I just painted. You can see how to do that in this DIY post

The outfit is so gorgeous by itself that I wanted to keep the jewelry simple. I added this cute charm bracelet from WetSeal. You can buy a similar one online here. To complete the look I added a pair of suede tan wedges.
